Description of ProgramExperience Works, Inc., is a national, charitable, nonprofit organization that offers training, employment and community service opportunities for mature workers. Programs are designed to help the mature individual enter the workforce, secure challenging positions, move into new career areas, and/or supplement their incomes. The local Employment & Training Coordinator assigns participants to positions with nonprofit or public agencies for an average of 20 hours per week at minimum wage to gain work skills before transitioning to regular employment.
