    Advocacy - IndividualThe Client Assistance Program (CAP) helps consumers with disabilities in South Carolina by acting as advocates regarding services provided by the Vocational Rehabilitation Department, Commission for the Blind, and all Independent Living programs and projects funded under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. As advocates, CAP staff can investigate, negotiate, mediate, and pursue administrative, and other remedies to ensure that the rights of consumers with disabilities are protected.     Advocacy - IndividualThe mission of the Southeastern Paralyzed Veterans of America (SEPVA) is to aid veterans with spinal cord injuries or diseases and their families (including widow[er] and minor children), as well as veteran and non-veteran persons with disabilities living in the states of Georgia and South Carolina, or in parts of North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama. The first concern of the SEPVA is paralyzed veterans, but the organization will also aid non-veterans who have need for advice or advocacy with the Veterans Administration (VA) or other agencies. The SEPVA also advocates for the rights of all persons with disabilities through legislation. Also, the SEPVA supports the Southern Regional Wheelchair Games in Myrtle Beach, SC. The organization's members are eligible to participate in recreational and community activities to include the PVA Bass Trail Tournaments, PVA's Trap Shoot Tournaments and Bowling Tournaments. They are now having hunts in conjunction with Sgt.
